Serving Meals

The lunch-time meal is served each day beginning at 12:15 PM. Residents may call the kitchen before 10 AM to include guests or to ask for an alternate entrée item or other option such as sugar free. Residents can let us know if they are not feeling well and we will gladly deliver a tray to their apartment for a fee of $1/day that will be added to your monthly invoice. Friends are always welcome to join our residents for lunch. If the residents have 3 or more guests for lunch we just ask that they let us know the day before.

Low Sodium and Low Fat Meals

Parkview Christian Estates in Modesto, CA is the only independent living facility in Stanislaus County that has both a meal program, and subsidized living included in the community living packages. The meals are prepared using fresh quality ingredients made in our kitchen. Quality soups are prepared by our cooks. Our menu is designed for nutritional meals with low sodium and low-fat. Special menu accommodations can be made for dietary needs. The meal program is operated under HUD guidelines. The Parkview Café, while operating the meal program is able to make special menu accommodations to those with diabetes, high cholesterol and other similar dietary needs.
